Sugar.Ri Sweets is the small-batch home bakery of Shari Manning Cook, a Chapel Hill native and school counselor at East Chapel Hill High. The name is a play on her own — Cherie, like the cherry on top.

What started as a way to bring a little extra sweetness into her days has grown into a community favorite: cupcakes, custom cakes, cookies, and specialty treats baked by hand and made to order.
